Will Microsoft be able to knock off Nintendo in the console wars?
At one time Atari ruled. Then Colecovision. Then the crash. Then Nintendo. Others fell by the wayside like SEGA. Then Sony came out with the Playstation and ruled. Microsoft fought back with the XBOX. Now, in the 8th generation, XBOX 360 and Nintendo Wii are duking it out while the PS3 collects dust on store shelves.
not likely. the Wii has sold atleast 34 million worldwide, while the 360 has only sold 22 million. Asian countries like Japan favor the Wii more, outselling the 360 by a large margin. Its beating the 360 pretty good here in the states as well.
The PS3 isn't collecting dust. So far, its sold at least 16 million worldwide. Its catching up to the 360. Its also outselling the 360 in Japan.
