Red Faceplate
Can damage to the outside faceplate of an xbox360 void the warranty?
Its kinda a long story but someone carved with a pocket knife "xbox" on the xbox360 faceplate. It just got the red ring and I think that it might have voided the warranty but im not shure. Yes or no? and why or why not. thanks
lol i work at gamestop and no, the only way to void it is if you like open up the system to 'clear out dust' or something, Microsoft wouldn't take it back because they don't know if you did something to it, OR if you like painted it all black because you thought black was cooler than white. carving or even painting on the face plate(which are removable by the way) should not be any issue)
