In-game reset on PSX?
I found that on some games on my Sony Playstation (PSOne) have in-game/soft reset capability. On games made by Squaresoft like Final Fantasy 7, pressing L1, R1, L2, R2, Select and Start simultaneously gives you the in-game reset.
Another way to reset a game on the PSX is to hold Select and Start simultaneously until the game's title screen is displayed.
The following games I have tested have the reset function:
Duke Nukem: Time to Kill
Army Men: World War - Land Sea Air
Apocalypse
What would exactly happen if the following games I have played used the in-game reset function:
Ace Combat series
Bugs Bunny Lost in Time
Crash Bandicoot series
Space Invaders
Need for Speed 3
Need for Speed high stakes
Need for Speed Porsche unleashed
You can add as many PSX (including PS2 and PS3) games not on the list as you want.
A lot of the games have the soft reset feature buit in, the feature was also added to PS2 games.
