Sony EX700 Headphones?
I am currently bidding on Sony MDR-EX700 on eBay and it says "This is an OEM Product" what does that mean and it is coming from Shenzhen, China and what are the possibility of the headphones being fake?
OEM means original equipment manufacturer. An original equipment manufacturer, or OEM, manufactures products or components which are purchased by a purchasing company and retailed under the purchasing company's brand name. OEM refers to the company that originally manufactured the product.
About it being fake. It's entirely possible. I personally wouldn't trust anything coming from china, but you should check the feedback. If they have a lot of positive feedback, at least a few hundred with no or very few negative or neutral feedback then you should be good to go.
