Duck Hunt
with a remington 870 express 28" barrel can i hunt duck deer goose and turkey?
i am looking into a remington 870 express and i would like to use it for close to everything. please let me know what i can do with it and if i cant use it for everything what would a gun be that i can. i also read that i can hunt deer and turkey with a 26" will that length still be fine for duck and goose?

When using your 870 for deer make sure you have a Improved Choke screwed in the barrel and also use a fosters style slug or rifled slug.
Do not use a sabot slug unless you get yourself a full rifled barrel.
A great shooting slug I have used and recomend is a Winchester Slug super X 3inch at 1700fps http://www.winchester.com/products/catalog/shotdetail.aspx?symbol=X123RS15&bn=1&use=3
Waterfowl use a Mod choke and upland birds on close jump shots a IMP or MOD choke and on far jumping upland a FULL choke,
