An ilegal immigrant asked me to put his car under my name in case he's ever stopped by police?
I know this person and he is a super Hardworking man. His crime, being here without papers. He asked me if I would consider putting his truck under my name in case the police stops him for whatever reason here here in arizona. He says, all I have to do is go pay (with his money) to get the car back but I won't be in trouble, even if he is put in jail. Is that something I can do? What about the car insurance? What if he ever hurts somebody with his car?
Dont do it. If he gets caught, will not be able to supply a license because you need to be legal to obtain one. So when they arrest him and deport him, they will also pin you for accessory, aiding an illegal, or whatever laws they have for that kind of thing.
